Go to Control Panel --> Connections tab ---> Messaging Accounts
Then click on edit or new
Then enter these settings in each field (I am using examples for username and password fields)

CONNECTION TYPE: pop3

OUTGOING SERVER ADDRESS: smtp.gmail.com

OUTGOING SECURITY: dedicated port

USE MIME ENCODING: yes
INCOMING SECURITY: dedicated port
INCOMING MAIL PORT: 995
SECURE PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION: off
save the settings and go to your inbox and hit send receive.
***P.S. THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SETUP YOUR PHONE'S INTERNET ACCOUNTS PROPERLY. THE BEST WAY TO TEST THESE SETTINGS OUT IS WITH YOUR PHONE CONNECTED TO YOUR PC (certain firmware only) WITH BLUETOOTH OR USB.

***Any messages you send from your phone using your Gmail account will also leave the same message in the inbox of your Gmail account when you login from your PC's browser.
